ALL PURCHASES:
All designs sold by Ojai Weekend on www.ojai-weekend.com or sold by Coffee Connection in Ojai, CA are copyrighted and may not be copied, altered, or resold (other than wholesale orders). The copyright of all designs remains with Ojai Weekend LLC and Brenna Furness DBA J and B's Coffee Connection and does not transfer with purchase. By purchasing any item in our shop, you have agreed to these terms. Please note that color may differ from a computer screen versus a final created product.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES:
Used Items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Returns for other items are accepted within 14 days of delivery for store credit minus return shipping charges. This window is extended to 30 days for purchases made between Black Friday and Christmas to account for holiday gift giving. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days. All returns are store credit only. Store credit is redeemable on our website www.ojai-weekend.com

FAQs
Why is my flame so high?
Before each lighting of your candle, trim your wick to 1/4" and burn your candle no longer than 4 hours at a time. If you are experiencing a high flame, your wick is too long. This can occur even if you've been burning your candle for a long time during a single use.
What is best practice for burning my candle?
Place your candle on a heat safe surface away from any drafts. Keep out of reach of children + pets. Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4" at all times and make sure you burn your candle until the wax pool reaches the side of the jar. Enjoy your candle burning for up to 4 hours. NEVER leave a candle burning unattended. Enjoy your candle until around 1/4" of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Do not burn your candle with less than a 1/4" of wax remaining.
How long will my candle last + how many hours will it burn?
Our clear jar candles burn for 40+ hours.
How long should the wick be before lighting?
Trim your wick to 1/4" ---if you are unable to angle scissors, use nail clippers. For the prevention of smoking or sparks, keep the wick trimmed to 1/4".
Why doesn't my candle light?
If your candle won't light the wick may have too much wax on it or was cut too short. Dig out some wax around the wick and re-light.
How should I extinguish my candle?
Try to avoid blowing out your candle, it will keep the wax from tunneling or creating an uneven plane. Use a candle snuffer is possible and if not, take extra care to gently blow the candle out.
What kind of wax do you use and what are your candle wicks made out of?
Our wax is 100% natural soy wax. Our wicks are made of cotton.
What kind of aromas do you use?
Our candles contain premium fragrance oils, which are non-toxic, gluten, phthalate, and lead free. All of our fragrances are 100% non-toxic when used for their intended purposes, in candles. Be sure to check out each candle listing to see which scents are used. All of our fragrance oils or phthalate-free. Our aromas are uniquely curated.
How strong are your candle scents?
Our candle scents are specially curated in a scent to wax ratio to ensure a full fragrance that is not overpowering.
Do your candles contain phthalates?
All of our candles are phthalate-free.
Where are your candles made?
All Ojai Weekend items are designed in the USA by Jon and Brenna Furness and made in small batches in our home studio in Ojai, Ca.
Wholesale Inquiries
WHOLESALE:
We review each new wholesale applicant on a case-by-case basis. We take into consideration the known location of existing retailers, the health of the applicant’s store(s), and that of the existing retailers (i.e. sales volume, product range, education program).

Ojai Weekend is known for its uniquely curated aromas. This process can take a few weeks and is best done for customers located within driving distance to our studio.
